Apartments

The almost 100-year-old farmhouse was completely renovated in 1999. Six individually designed holiday apartments in an absolutely prime location are available for guests to choose from. All impress with their elegant simplicity, functionality and homeliness.

The high standard of the apartments offers space to linger. The furnishings are tasteful and functional. The practically equipped kitchens whet the appetite for culinary creations. And anyone looking for variety is a welcome guest at the Hotel Randolina.

General Information

The apartments offer the chance to live entirely at your own pace, and quite a few residents also make use of the stimulating environment for work. A high-speed internet connection supports them in this. A small in-house library provides inspiration, and the larger Biblioteca Engiadinaisa is located just a stone’s throw away. And even if the weather outside is a bit gloomy, you might feel almost as comfortable in your apartment as you do at home. You can make a cup of tea and enjoy a slice of nut cake when the children return from the nearby playground.

Your own kitchen is perfect for cooking, but if you prefer to go to a restaurant, there is a wide variety of options within walking distance. Those who wish to venture a little further afield will also find plenty to suit their tastes. The Upper Engadine, with its lakes, larch forests and mountain peaks bearing names such as Piz Margna, Piz Grevasalvas and Piz Corvatsch, beckons. The seemingly endless network of hiking trails invites you to take a leisurely stroll or to conquer the peaks – the latter easily accessible via one of the mountain railways.

Anyone who doesn’t find happiness here is truly a sorry sort. And if your legs start to feel heavy and you’re running out of breath, you’ll usually find a bus nearby that will take you right back to the starting point. Some routes are also a delight by bike. Excursions to the neighbouring valleys are particularly appealing, such as to Bergell and on to the Alpine town of Chiavenna. It’s no great journey to Puschlav and the Münstertal either – the southern valleys of Graubünden are a world of their own. The sporting opportunities during the winter season are world-renowned; the cross-country trails along which the Engadin Ski Marathon runs are a familiar sight, as are the downhill runs at Corviglia in St. Moritz. Not into sports? Sils and the neighbouring villages offer a wealth of cultural activities, festivals, exhibitions and events of all kinds featuring music, spoken word, song and dance.
